Lewis Radio Station and Television Studio move into DeLaSalle Hall

Over the last couple of months you may have noticed all of the construction that has taken place on the inside and outside of De La Salle hall. Recently, construction was completed and students were allowed back into the new section of De La Salle Hall for the first time.

On the outside, as we have all probably seen by now, is the new brick wall with a couple of windows and a staircase that leads up to new floors. But one of the newest additions in De La Salle Hall is the new state-of-the-art Radio/TV facility.

The new facility has turned out better than most thought. The previous location of the radio and television departments were located in the basement of Fitzpatrick Hall.

The new facility offers everyone more space and is open to other students. Compared to before, students are now going to view the new facility on a daily basis and see what is going on.

This new facility is bigger and better than before. The radio department and staff of WLRA now have a brand new operations office, a bigger on-air studio for radio shows, a conference studio for show guests, and two individual production studios.

The television department has an all-new digital editing room, a TV control room/broadcast major control room, and
