On Oct. 13, the International Student Association held the International Food Fair in the Student Union. Those in attendance were greeted with an expansive array of dishes from a collection of countries, including Italy, Nigeria, Korea, Poland, Greece, Columbia, Sweden, the Middle East, and Canada, among others.

As guests lined up to get their fill, selections of world music enhanced the ambiance. Food choices ranged from more common entrees like mostaccioli, Swedish meatballs, and sushi, to lesser known delicacies including falafel (chickpeas; from the Middle East), feijoadas (rice, meat, and beans; from Brazil), and lumpias (egg rolls from the Philippines). People had no problem finding a variety of cooking.

There was a good turnout for the fair but nevertheless, there was plenty of seating and food to go around. When asked what she thought of the food fair, Katie Patenaude, English major, said, "It was awesome." Orlando Belisle, theater and psychology major, added, "And, it was free," and you can't beat that price.
