As a team, Lewis scored 342 and finished sixth among nine Great Lakes Valley Conference teams.
"My expectations were that I'd be faced with tough competition and that I would have to earn my spot," Siedlaczek said. From the way she has been performing, she has earned her spot on the team.
With the season almost coming to an end, Krieger, the team captain, was asked how she thought the season was going and how she thought this season differs from last year.
"Our season has been great this year," she said. "We've placed first in three out of six tournaments. We as a team have a lot of potential. We have a great returning group of girls and we also have great new players." said Kreiger
"This year, the team is growing and becoming stronger as a whole.
In future years, there is no doubt in my mind that we will be a tough team to beat."
With the Great Lakes Valley Conference meet coming up soon, Krieger has high hopes for the tournament.
"I think we'll definitely place in the top 5 for conference," she said.
The women's golf team will head to Conference at Edinburgh, Ind. to face Great Lakes Valley on Saturday, Oct. 1 and Sunday, Oct. 2.
