Two weeks ago the Lewis University Radio Station, WLRA 88.1 FM, began web streaming online on the University Homepage. Like the radio station itself, the web stream is completely digitally done and is state of the art. John Carey, Director of Electronic Media at Lewis University, noted the high quality of the stream cast by saying, "the technology to process it was only put out two years ago and the technology is pretty sophisticated.
Though it is the administration and the voters that decide whether or not Lockport Township High School will get a new high school to solve it's crowded hallway blues, it is the students that spend the most time in the hallways that will be most affected. The referendum calling for a new high school and expansion to Lockport Township High School, currently broken up into central campus, which serves as a freshman center, and east campus, the sophomore through senior facility, has been defeated by voters three times.
As the year begins to wind down, freshmen at Lewis University are seeking a new place to stay for their sophomore year. Saying their goodbyes to Founders, Sheil, and South, the future sophomores of Lewis University look forward to finding an upperclassmen dorm that's best fit for them and their friends.
